Protein balls have been the latest post-workout snack craze for some time now and it’s not hard to see why. They are easy to make, pre-portioned, satisfy chocolate cravings and are healthy, could it get any better than that.
That’s why here at Cook and Phillip we’re sharing one of our favourites. These Chocolate Quinoa Protein Balls make the perfect snack, they are only 80 calories each, healthy and packed full of protein (and they taste great too).
1 tbsp cocoa powder sifted
1 tbsp coconut oil
2 tbsp honey
1/2-cup quinoa flakes
1/2 cup almond meal
Combine all ingredients in a food processor and mix until well combined.
Roll mix into 12 balls
Set in the fridge or freezer
